Judi Sivyer - Program Director

Judi attended Schoolcraft College and Graceland University in Lamoni Iowa where she received her Child Development Credentials. Judi became Montessori Certified and started teaching preschool in 1985. Her children started at Franklin Road Christian School in 1995 and she was hired one year later. She was working as a teacher aid and created an after school program for the K-6 portion of FRCS. When the school moved locations Judi was asked to submit plans to open the preschool. Train Station began its first year in the Fall of 2001. Judi now administrates the preschool as well as latch-key and study hall for FRCS.
Judi has been married for 27 years and has 3 children: Heather 25, Ryan 23 and Catie 19. |

Nancy Angel

Nancy Angel attended Schoolcraft College as well as Eastern Michigan University for her education in early childhood education. She has worked in child care for 21 years. Nancy is married to Larry and they have three children: Joshua 26, Mallory 23, and Michelle 17. She is qualified for teaching early childhood education and certified in CPR and First Aide as well.

Anne Bacigalupo

Anne Bacigalupo is the newest member of The Train Station. Originally from Shrewsbury, England, she came to the United States in May 2005 to marry the head of maintenance here at Brightmoor. Her experience running a youth club at her church in England prepared her to work with children. She has also helped with Sunday school at her home church. Since she she has been here she has worked with Missionettes, Kids Zone and the nursery program. She worked at Royal Family Kids Camp for the last four summers. Anne is a great addition to our program. |

Susie Bacani

Susie Bacani graduated from Adrian College with a BA in home economics education. After graduation, she worked for three years at Victorian Park preschool in Columbus, Ohio as a pre-k teacher. She has worked in all areas of the children's ministry at Harvest Christian Church over the last seventeen years. She was the director of the children's ministry at Harvest during that time. Susie has worked at The Train Station since 2003. Susie and her husband, Joe, have been married since 1977. They have four daughters: Jenni 26, Beckie 24, Angie 17, and Amanda 16.

Sophany Boyagian

Sophany Boyagian is a graduate from Michigan State University. She has a B.S. in management but is also considering going back to school to pursue a teaching career. She has been working at the pre-school since April 2005 and is certified in CPR. She also is a supervisor at Starbucks part-time. Meanwhile, when she’s not working, she spends time with her lovely husband and two cats. She is also active with her church near downtown Detroit (Citadel of Faith Covenant Church) and wants to take up ministries in the Detroit community. |

Rebecca Bruni

Rebecca Bruni is a graduate of Franklin Road Christian School. She earned her Early Childhood Development and Business degrees from Oakland Community College. She oversaw the Latch-key program at FRCS from 1997 to 2000, and substitute taught during the 1998/1999 school year for Franklin Road. For two years, she ran her own home day care where she enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with her clients as well as her own four children. Becca believes that every child is a gift from God and should be loved and cherished for who they are. She is married to Steve; their three older children attend FRCS, and their youngest, Alex, comes to The Train Station with mom. |

Lindsey Clair

Lindsey Clair has an Associates Degree in Child Development and a State Certificate. She hopes to pursue her Bachelors degree in Children and Family support and services from the University of Michigan. After she graduated from high school, Lindsey worked as a nanny for 5 children as she attended school part time. Lindsey has worked at a day care center, a Head Start preschool program, and as an Assistant Director for Child Time. She began teaching at Train Station Preschool when it opened in the Fall of 2001 and says this has been by far her favorite position.
Lindsey has been married to Ron Clair since May of 1999. They have two beautiful girls Kelly and Alessandra, and are expecting another child in May, 2009. |

Kristen Gillispie

Kristin Gillispie has worked at The Train Station preschool since 2003. Kristin graduated from high school in 2003. In 2005 she studied abroad with YWAM school of ministry in Australia and Thailand. She returned to the states and completed the phlebotomy program at Oakland Community College. Kristin is activly involved in her church, Metro Detroit Christian Church, in Farmington Hills. |

Jackie King

Jackie King has been married to Jeff for 30 years and they have 2 children. She has worked several years in retail and clothing manufacturing between babysitting and nanny jobs. Jackie attended Schoolcraft College for Young Child Development and received her Child Care Credentials upon completion of the program. She worked for the FRCS latch key program for two years and has been with Train Station since the Fall of 2001. |

Sherry Scarchilli

Sherry has worked in The Train Station since summer of 2007. She has been married to her husband Chris, who is in ministry school, for seven years and has three children. Two of her children are enrolled at Franklin Road Christian School, and one attends The Train Station. She has attended Brightmoor Christian Church for five years, and during that time has played a very active roll in the children's ministry. During her time at Brightmoor she has taught in Bible school, Sunday school and has helped as a classroom assistant at FRCS. Sherry continues to increase her skill, experience and knowledge by taking continuing education courses in early education.

Geri Yost

Geri Yost is a graduate of Heritage Baptist University with a BS degree in Elementary Education. She has taught since 1979. For 5 years she directed a large preschool in Fremont, Ohio. Geri, and her husband Dan joined the FRCS staff in 1999 and have four children. Their daughter and son are graduates of FRCS and their youngest daughter is currently a student. Geri opens the preschool every morning and also works at the preschool during the normal school-year vacations, such as the Christmas and summer breaks.
