Counseling Home:
We are proud to offer our students the academic and guidance support they need to be able to succeed in our advanced K-12 program, as well as prepare for college admissions. Each year, more than 95% of Franklin Road Christian graduates continue in advanced education, with the remaining students typically choosing to go directly into full-time ministry, or internships.
Sixth through twelfth grade students are given individual attention and guidance for their class choices and qualifications, in order to meet their goals and objectives. Our high school students are counseled regarding college admissions testing dates, preparation classes, and scholarships available. Parents, faculty, and administration are highly involved in helping our students make the best choices for their advanced education.
Franklin Road Christian maintains accreditation with North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). We administer a nationally-normed standardized test to every student, every year, in order to maintain our standard of academic excellence. Consistently, our all-school results are well-above-average for state and national norms. In addition, admission to Franklin Road Christian requires that each student is given a portion of this test to determine potential for success in our advanced program.
Our academic program is evaluated continually and improvements made, which results in our standardized test scores steadily increasing year over year. Professional development is a high priority, with consistent opportunities for knowledge advancement throughout the year for our faculty, including weekly development meetings, and off-site seminars.
Overall, we provide each student with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to succeed in their plans for their future, as Christian leaders of our communities and churches.
