Thank you for your consideration of Franklin Road Christian School. We recognize that selecting a school
for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. Please make it a priority to contact us (248-668-7100) to arrange an admissions meeting and tour. This will allow you the opportunity to meet with faculty and members of administration, and view our new campus, to facilitate your decision making process. Applying to Franklin Road Christian:

The following steps will guide you through your application process. Please feel free to contact us at (248) 668-7100, and ask for our Admissions Secretary, Donna Hicks, with any questions as you proceed.

Step One: Complete and Submit Required Application Forms

1. Complete, sign, and return the Student Application to Franklin Road Christian School along with the $85 per student Application Fee as soon as possible, regardless of your desired start date. Classes may have waiting lists so it is important that your application is received in a timely manner.

PLEASE NOTE POLICY CHANGE AS OF NOVEMBER 17, 2009: FRCS has changed it's enrollment policy to allow prospective families to submit applications to the High School office at any time. All applications will be dated at the time of receipt.  Once the completed application is submitted with the items below, it will be processed after February first in the order in which it was received.

Priority will continue to be given as follows:

• Siblings of families currently enrolled at FRCS
• Brightmoor Christian Church members
• Train Station Preschool students
• Others

In the event that an opening does not become available, and thus, no invitation to test is offered for your student, the application fee will be refunded.

2. Submit the following items with your completed application:

• Birth Certificate for Kindergarten applicants
• Most recent report card and standardized test scores
• High School Transcripts
• Pastoral letter of reference
• Teacher letter of reference
• Immunization/Health Record
• $85 per student Application Fee

3. Mail or deliver all completed forms and records to:

Please note that applications cannot be processed until all documentation is received, as detailed above and on the application. (See application checklist.)

Step Two: Entrance Testing

1. Once all required application materials have been submitted, your application file will be reviewed. Applicants considered for acceptance will be invited to test.

2. The testing fee is $160, and is non-refundable. Testing is required of all applicants. The exam includes general school aptitude and achievement in math and reading, as well as a writing evaluation.

3. Personnel from the admissions office will inform you of your testing date.

Step Three: Acceptance

Criteria for acceptance is based on:

1. Test scores on entrance exam
2. Previous academic performance
3. Church participation and involvement
